Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958, in extremely poor conditions. Her father was a vehicle salesman, and her mother worked as a teacher. Jennifer was the second child in a family of four children frequently attended her mother's performance in the theater and was awestruck. Jennifer's divorce came about when she turned five. Jennifer was a part of her early years at British Columbia after her mom moved there along with the other four children. Jennifer did not have a good education, despite being a gifted kid. When she was in Canada, she was the victim of bullying often. In the years that her interest in theatre diminished, she started acting in shows to support her mother. Her mother inspired all of her kids to develop a passion for the arts. She then immediately started acting.
