Evans was quoted as saying, "God has put me on the earth in order to be an artist." The quote is attributed to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It is what I am passionate about doing more than anything else and I'm determined to achieve success." Evans is also hoping to be successful by returning to traditional country music, which was popularized by legendary artists like Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Evans was also influenced by George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Patty Loveless. Evans was born in 1970, was able to make her debut in the mid 90s, as many aspiring country music singers turned to modern popular songs. It is evident through her 1997 debut album, True Lies. The album was not greeted with critical appreciation and a nomination by the Academy of Country Music in 1998 as the most promising female singer, True Lies made little impact. Evans released her next album that year, No Place That Far resulted from her bowing to producers who convinced that she needed to expand her collection. The singer finally got the recognition that she has had her heart set on since childhood. Sara Evans was a born in Columbia Missouri on the 5th of February 7th, 1971. Sara Evans spent the early stages of her life alongside her brothers and sisters.
